What this is

chci.eu is a free, advertising-free catalogue that pairs products and services from outside Europe with European alternatives. It is provided by OmNexis s.r.o. as a public-interest project. Nothing is sold here, no account is required to read it, and there is no charge of any kind.

No warranty, and please check before you act

The catalogue is compiled by hand and by best effort. Ownership of companies changes, services close, and facts go out of date. We give no guarantee that any entry is accurate, complete or current, and the site is provided "as is".

Do not treat anything here as advice — commercial, legal, financial or otherwise. Verify anything that matters before you rely on it. If you find something wrong, please tell us; there is a correction form on every card.

To the extent Czech law allows, we exclude liability for loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or for harm to health or life, which cannot be excluded under section 2898 of the Czech Civil Code.

Using the site

You may read, link to and quote the site freely. You may not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, attempt to break into it, or use it to distribute unlawful material.

What you submit

When you suggest an entry, you confirm that the information is given in good faith and that you have the right to submit any image you upload.

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, adapt (for example to resize a logo into a square icon) and store what you submit, for as long as the entry remains on the site. You keep whatever rights you had. We do not pay for submissions and none is owed.

Do not upload anything you do not have the rights to. Logos are accepted for identification of the product concerned; if you are a rights holder and object to an image, write to info@omnexis.com and we will remove it.

Moderation, and how we decide

Every submission is reviewed by a human before it appears. We publish entries that are accurate, verifiable and fit the site's stated scope, and we decline the rest. In particular we remove or refuse content that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading, purely promotional, or infringes someone's rights.

Decisions are made by the site's administrators. We use no automated content moderation and no automated decision-making.

This section is our statement of content moderation policy for the purposes of Article 14 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065.

Reporting illegal content

If you believe something on chci.eu is illegal, tell us at info@omnexis.com or through the correction form on the card in question. Please include the exact address of the content, an explanation of why you consider it illegal, and a way to contact you.

We will confirm receipt, assess the notice diligently and without undue delay, and tell you what we decided and why. Where we remove or restrict content, we give the person who submitted it a statement of reasons and the opportunity to dispute the decision by replying to us. This is our notice and action mechanism under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act.

Accounts

Signing in is optional and only enables you to like entries. We may suspend an account that is used abusively. You may delete yours at any time by writing to info@omnexis.com.

Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; the version in force is the one published here, with its date. Material changes will be noted on the site.

These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live. Disputes fall to the Czech courts unless mandatory rules provide otherwise.

This page is available in English and Czech. The Czech version is authoritative for Czech legal purposes.
