Tizen, webOS, Google TV, Fire TV & Roku
You can buy a European television. Its software will not be.
The panel comes from Asia and so does the software running on top of it. Every smart TV platform of any size belongs to Samsung, LG, Google, Amazon or Roku, and the home screen is increasingly an advertising surface that reports what you watch. This is why the televisions card is thinner than it looks: the European makers listed there mostly license Google TV, so buying European hardware does not get you European software. The honest workaround is to treat the TV as a screen — never connect it to the network, and drive it from a separate box you chose.

Not an unfinished card: we looked, and nothing in Europe does this at a scale you could actually switch to. It is here so the gap is visible — these are the places where something is missing rather than merely losing.
