Robinhood, Coinbase & eToro
Your broker decides which rules protect you.
Where your broker is regulated determines what happens when something goes wrong — which compensation scheme covers you, in which language, under whose courts. European brokers fall under MiFID II and national investor compensation schemes, typically €20,000 or more per client. It is the least glamorous reason to switch and probably the best one. None of this is advice about what to buy.
